Inspiration for the ring

Tropea Beach (Calabria, Southern Italy) is often praised as one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy — and for good reason. Tropea is dramatically perched on cliffs (“La Rupe”), with pastel-coloured buildings and an old town that seems to hover above the sea. The beaches are set right below the cliffs, which gives them a dramatic backdrop. The beaches around Tropea include soft, golden/white sand and crystal-clear Tyrrhenian sea water. The colour contrasts — the azure water, the light sand, the green or rocky cliff sides are striking.
